Benjamin House is proud to announce our upcoming holiday benefit show, Eric Michael Gillett & Melanie Vaughan Back Home for the Holidays! Catch it at Arts of the Albemarle on Sunday December 6th at 7pm. Tickets are $25 and will only be sold at Arts of the Albemarle. There will be open seating with no reserve seating.
Following two sold out seasons as the closing act of the esteemed Brownville Concert Series, Eric Michael Gillett & Friends bring holiday cheer to Elizabeth City, NC, in support of one of Eric Michael's favorite causes, the Benjamin House. After a friendship with Benjamin Hughes and family that has spanned almost 3 decades, Eric Michael and his long time singing partner, Broadway's Melanie Vaughan, celebrate the holiday season with songs of the season, remembrances of Christmases past, a large dose of down-home humor, and good old-fashioned sing-a-long caroling. From Mariah Carey's "All I Want for Christmas is You" and "Jingle Bell Rock" to "O, Holy Night" and a moving retelling of the origins of "Silent Night", At Home for the Holidays is a show that warms the heart and sends audiences home filled with joy and spirit of the holiday season.
